New positions, ranging from general laborer to office administration, will be available at ZTEX Construction Inc., which recently added three new contracts to its current list of projects. The company expects to add 30 jobs by its second quarter and to exceed 100 jobs by the end of 2014. It is looking for area residents and recent college graduates to fill the open positions. ZTEX Construction Inc. was awarded the Montecillo Unit 5 Contract for earthwork on the EPT Montecillo Development East. The project will prepare the location for new residential and commercial real estate, adding to the existing Venue at Montecillo. It was also named a subcontractor for the Althon Investments site improvements project located at 8700 Castner, and was awarded a subcontract from VEMAC under Horizon Regional Municipal Utility District for pond improvements in Horizon City.
