ZTEX is happy to congratulate Victor Rojas and Victor Hernandez on their welder’s certification for TexasGas/OneGas.
Both recently traveled to Austin, TX, to receive in-depth training and certification by a statewide inspector. “It’s not as easy as it sounds”, said Mr. Hernandez. “But we had the chance to get enough practice”, he said.
Mr. Hernandez has been welding since 2015 and graduated at the top of his class as valedictorian at Western Tech.
“Working at ZTEX and getting my pipe welders certification has been a great learning experience. I’ve established a career at ZTEX, and it doesn’t feel like just any other job”, said Mr. Hernandez. “My supervisors treat me well, and I can’t stress enough how much I enjoy working here,” he added.
Mr. Rojas has been welding for ZTEX for five years. “I am humbled and grateful to have been allowed to have taken the welding certification. It was a great experience”, he said. “It’s been awesome working here. I’ve been able to grow, learn, and put my skills to practice”, added Mr. Rojas.
